Big Shop Update – just in time for Christmas!

It’s all go here.

On Saturday we had a big update of my Etsy shop, which went from having 1 product on there to having a super 14 products!

These include:

koala-bear-unicycle-bike

New website design

I’ve been busy re-designing my website. The old one was a bit dark and cluttered, so this time i’ve gone for clean and simple.

I’ve also removed a lot of the old work that was on here, such as my laser-cut jewellery which I just don’t have the time to make anymore. I’ve refocused all my efforts on illustration as that is my true passion (it also happens to be what all of the work i have coming in at the minute is, which is nice!)

Let me know what you think of the new site design, it’s always good to get feedback…

Merry Christmas! An update…

18_thatbeastjen_1000_v01

First off, Merry Christmas! This happy little penguin is an illustration I made for Buff Motion, who then animated it as part of their 2016 Christmas Advent Calendar. You can see all of the other animations on their website by clicking here. I did one last year, too, which you can see by clicking here.

I’ve been a bit quiet lately, but it is for good reasons I promise. Earlier this year I got commissioned for the biggest illustration project I’ve ever had. It is taking up every free moment of time I have, but I’m excited about it and hope to announce full details in the new year.

On the jewellery front, my Etsy store is looking a little bare at the moment, thanks to some very successful fairs in November, but I’m hoping to re-stock soon, plus add some exciting new designs.

Have a great Christmas, everyone!

Big Shop Update – Earrings & Lino Prints Now Available!

I am so pleased to announce that my shop has now been updated with a ton of new products! I’ve been working on these for the last few months, so it feels good to be able to release them into the world.

Earrings

After selling out of all my cat-face and bear-face earrings last year at just three events, I decided to go all out with cute little earring designs! Here we have cloud, polar bear, fried egg, cat-face, bear-face, mountain, koala and – my personal favourite – toast!

Lino Prints

I’ve been experimenting with lino cutting over the last few months and have been really enjoying it. My favourite so far are my Mr & Mrs Bear prints. Available individually – white boy bear, black boy bear and black girl bear – or as a pair – white boy bear and black girl bear.

A weekend of Lino Cutting & Printing

Since getting a Lino printing set for Christmas last year, I’ve got hooked on the technique. It’s a strange combination of relaxation and tension. The relaxation comes from the total immersion of it, and the tension comes from the fear of taking a chunk out of the image you’ve been working on for hours!

Josh filmed me working on a lady bear Lino print, and also took some photos of me working. Hope you enjoy, and like the final piece!
